Safari Ghost Synced Cloud Tabs
If you have Cloud Tabs enabled in Safari and sync tabs between your phone and laptop, sometimes the list of open tabs gets stuck. Follow these steps to fix that:
- Delete
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Safari/Data/Library/Preferences/ByHost - Restart Mac
- Close ghost tabs from phone
Monitor resolutions
For MacOS, around 110dpi or 220dpi is ideal to avoid non-integer scaling. 220dpi is preferred to use HiDPI mode for crisper text.

Ideal options:
- 2560x1440 (1440p) at 27 inches (non-retina) – 109ppi
- 5120x2880 (5k) at 27 inches (retina) – 218ppi
- 6144x3456 (6k) at 32 inches (retina) – 220ppi
These would technically work, but they are not common:
- 3840x2160 (4k) at 34 inches (non-retina)
- 3840x2160 (4k) at 20 inches (retina)
This is a bit small but could work:
- 2560x1440 (1440p) at 25 inches (non-retina) – 117ppi
